Span 85 is a non-ionic surfactant primarily used as an emulsifier and lubricant in the cosmetic and food industries. It remains stable under mild acidic or alkaline conditions but saponifies and decomposes in strongly acidic or alkaline environments. Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place.
